“As a mother, wife, grandmother, and having worked in the corporate world for many years, I know how important self-care is. Not enough of us either have the time, make the time, or know where to begin. For years, I have struggled with constant migraine pain and know the realities of what stress can do on one’s body.
The moment I discovered Serasana, its purpose, and its culture, I knew I wanted to be a part of it. One look around and I knew there was nothing like this in Colorado. An ancient Traditional Medicine inspired wellness center! Amazing herbal teas, acupuncture, massage, meditation, yoga and workshops. The minute I walked through the door to my first Serasana in Texas I remember the amazing smells of freshly brewing tea, and a hint of the smell of Palo Santo. One look around at the restful decor and comfortable seating areas, I felt I just wanted to grab a book and sip my tea at the tea bar.
I noticed a genuine sense of community. There were people coming to early yoga classes before they headed off to work, and I observed a couple from a nearby retirement community holding hands as they walked out of their yoga class together they had been attending together for years. A young man just got his first massage after a minor sport injury. I saw a mom and her two young boys wandering in to grab their favorite healthy smoothies on their way home from school. What I related to the most, was seeing people just like me – real people looking for real wellness, relief, stress management, and a comfortable place they can go to for calm.
Nothing excites me more than bringing Serasana here to my Littleton home. I know that this will be a place of comfort, relaxation and community for all ages. I want everyone to feel welcome, at home and begin their own wellness journey with us here at Serasana Littleton!
You’ll be able to find Serasana Littleton to the south of Denver in Littleton, Colorado by winter of 2019! In the meantime, follow us on Facebook and Instagram for sneak peeks along the way.
